February 1, 2021PUMA athletes show strong performance at first Word Athletics Indoor Tour events of 2021
February 1, 2021This weekend, several PUMA world-class athletes showed top performances and were able to win their first World Athletics Indoor competition of the year. Among them are Mondo Duplantis, Liadagmis Povea, Renaud Lavillenie, Juan Miguel Echevarria, Wilhem Belocian and Nooralotta Neziri.
It was the first performance test in 2021 for many PUMA track & field athletes this weekend. At the Word Athletics Indoor Tour Gold Meeting in Karsruhe, Germany, the ISTAF Indoor in Düsseldorf, Germany (both events were sponsored by PUMA) and the Indoor Athletics Meeting in Tourcoing, France. We saw several wins and personal bests for PUMA athletes at these events. There was also great pole vault action and a neck-and-neck race between PUMA athletes Mondo Duplantis and Renaud Lavillenie.
Under strict hygiene requirements and unfortunately without an audience, it was still possible to hold high-class competitions.
Pole Vault

The word record holder showed his best performance at the silver-level ISTAF Indoor Düsseldorf meeting. His winning mark was 6.01m. He even had the bar raised to a new world record at 6.19m but ran through his first attempt before calling it a day.
