March 11, 2021Watch out Rugby fans! PUMA now kits out both Australian rugby league’s State of Origin representatives, adding the NSW Blues to our recently-signed agreement with the Queensland Maroons. This new partnership was made with the News South Wales state rugby league governing body NSWRL.
We have worked closely with NSWRL to pull together a fun and engaging way to announce our partnership – A video call!

Partnering with the NSW Blues is an exciting opportunity for everyone here at PUMA. They are a much-loved team and organisation and evoke a large amount of passion every time a player pulls on the NSW jersey.
The State of Origin series (SOO) is an annual best-of-three rugby league series (the Australian version of the Super Bowl) between two Australian state representative sides, the New South Wales Blues and the Queensland Maroons. With having both of these teams in our family now, it will give us great presence in the market.

We made our first foray into the rugby league market in recently, having established strong positions with other team sports, including football and motorsports, and, more recently, via long-term deals in AFL.
