A recycling breakthrough

For the opening of the new END. Store in Manchester (England), END. designed two exclusive sneakers, two formal shoes and some apparel products in collaboration with different brands. PUMA is one of only two sneaker brands that managed to realise this project in such a short time. 🐝
I was super excited when END. approached me about this project. When starting the role, it was my no.1 priority, and to be working on a project to celebrate Manchester was even better. The support I received from the GTM team, RRC team and UK marketing were the key factors in getting all of the moving pieces over the line. Can’t wait to see this shoe in store, hopefully not for long though…
Earlier this year, END. Clothing approached PUMA to design a special sneaker edition, as part of its planned store opening in Manchester. As the opening was first scheduled for August, it was clear that the timeline was a very short one and it would be challenging to stick to the agenda.
After the sign off of the the project, the team began to work with sourcing to predict the feasibility of the project. By sourcing within Europe, they found materials to produce a limited edition of Suedes to design together with END.
The new END. store is the largest one of the fashion retailer and convinces with a location in the city center of Manchester. The super limited PUMA sneaker edition – only 50 pairs – can be purchased exclusively in store.
As time was short, shoe boxes were manufactured locally in the UK and re-packaged upon delivery.
We are very happy about the cooperation and smooth transaction.
The long-awaited END. store opening took place in September.
