The World Championships took place from the 19th to 27th of August in Budapest, marking an exhilarating athletic spectacle with the spirit of FOREVER.FASTER. carried by over 175 PUMA athletes. Our athletes achieved an amazing total medal count of 6x 🥇; 8x 🥈 and 8x 🥉.
Monday: Double pack at the Triple Jump!
Our PUMA athletes kicked the week off with great achievements, taking home four medals!
- Lazaro Martinez (CUB) – Triple Jump: 17.41m (-0.6) 🥈
- Cristian Napoles (CUB) – Triple Jump: 17.40m (+0.1) 🥉

Tuesday: High Jump Domination
Tuesday witnessed a spectacular display of high-flying athleticism as our PUMA athletes swept the podium in the men’s High Jump. The triumphant trio:

- JuVaughn Harrison (USA) – High Jump: 2.36m 🥈

Wednesday: Golden Brilliance and More
Wednesday brought a rush of medals, with PUMA athletes adding four trophies to their collection. The spotlight shone brightly on our champions:

Friday: Record-Setting Velocity
Friday was nothing short of exhilarating, with Shericka Jackson displaying her exceptional prowess in the 200m. Setting records ablaze, she sprinted to victory with a championship record, personal best, national record, and the second-best time ever recorded in the 200m. Leyanis Perez Hernandez added her first global medal – a bronze – on top to the PUMA collection!

Sunday: FINAL DAY FIREWORKS
On the final day, Yaroslava Mahuchikh finally brings high jump gold home to Ukraine while Nicola Olyslagers notches another global medal, adding a bronze in Budapest to her collection.
