What inspired you to pursue a career in professional athletics?

Alex: Over time, I gradually fell in love with the overall lifestyle that pursing excellence in running entails. I’m driven to become the best athlete I can be, and a career in professional athletics gives me the greatest resources and opportunities to achieve that end.

How did you reconcile studying and training? Any tips you would like to share?

Alex: I had to learn how to prioritize tasks in order to budget my time and energy most efficiently. Sometimes, knowing that a project or assignment was “good enough” allowed me to spend time saying on top of my sleep or working on other classes to minimize future stress.

Why did you choose PUMA as your brand of choice?

Alex: I’m confident that the environment, coaching, team culture, and resources that Puma Elite provides will help me become the best athlete I can be, and I’m excited to represent PUMA and help further its brand in the running world.

What excites you most about joining the PUMA Elite Team?

Alex: I feel that I’ve never been able to dedicate all of my time and energy into running throughout most of my college career, so being able to do that in an environment with other driven and successful individuals to elevate me is what excites me the most.

How do you plan to represent PUMA both on and off the field?

Alex: Through the use of PUMA apparel for training and races, and I’d like to build a presence on social media that involves the representation of PUMA.

Alex: Magnify 2 and Forever Run trainers.
