July 31, 2024Where A Game-Changing Partnership launched and Global Basketball Stars took over PUMA House
July 31, 2024The PUMA House was buzzing with basketball energy as PUMA Hoops took the stage for Hoops Day in Paris to announce a groundbreaking partnership with design visionary and cultural icon, Salehe Bembury. Known for his unmatched style and deep ties to basketball culture, Bembury is set to propel PUMA Hoops to new heights in both performance and culture.
A Visionary Joins the Team
PUMA Hoops is thrilled to welcome Salehe Bembury, whose innovative designs have revolutionized sneaker culture. From catwalks to celebrities and athletes worldwide, Bembury’s progressive designs have challenged conventions and set new trends. Now, he brings his vision to PUMA, focusing on our fastest-growing segment – basketball.
“My designs are a platform for storytelling and cultivating community; an opportunity to breathe new meaning into a product. As a 90’s kid from New York City, I’ve played basketball my whole life and have a deep history, emotion, and nostalgia for the sport. I’m excited to leverage this collaboration as a catalyst to introduce an untold side of me and engage a new community.”
Elevating Basketball Culture
Bembury will design PUMA’s next signature silhouette, help recruit the next signature athlete, and create a new look and feel within basketball. With a diverse roster that includes LaMelo Ball, Breanna Stewart, and Flau’Jae Johnson, PUMA Hoops is already known for its disruptive product designs. Bembury’s arrival will elevate this unique culture-first storytelling even further, challenging the conventions of performance and signature basketball.
“Today’s game is as much about performance as it is about culture. Salehe has had unrivaled success in bringing to life the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion through product design and storytelling. This partnership will bring game-changing newness and excitement to basketball athletes, consumers, and culture – both on and off the court.”

It’s heating up in Paris, and Chris Brickley is bringing the fire with an insane trick shot at the PUMA House. The NBA skills coach made his mark by draining an unbelievable cross-pool trick shot from three stories up, launching a basketball from the balcony of the athlete’s lounge over the swimming pool and into a tiny hoop.
