PUMA’s Commitment to Employee Feedback

September 30, 2024

Welcome to our continues listening journey! At PUMA, we believe that our greatest strength lies in our people. That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with Peakon, a cutting-edge platform designed to listen and regularly gather feedback from our PUMAs. This initiative ensures that every voice is heard and valued, helping us create an even better workplace together.

Want to know more? Dive into our exclusive interview with Dietmar Knoess, Vice President People & Organization, where he shares insights on how Peakon is shaping the future of employee engagement at PUMA. Don’t miss it!

Feedback is an essential part of PUMA’s culture. Can you tell us more about the new platform, Peakon, EMPLOYEE VOICE?

Dietmar Knoess: Absolutely! At PUMA, we continuously strive to improve how we listen to the needs of our employees, whom we fondly call PUMAs. To react to your feedback even faster, we are replacing our regular survey, EOS, with the new platform, Peakon, Employee Voice. Previously, we conducted extensive surveys every two years, which included up to 80 questions. While these surveys provided valuable insights, the process was lengthy and often delayed actionable outcomes. With Peakon, we aim to gather feedback more frequently and efficiently.

What does this change mean for PUMA employees?

Dietmar Knoess: This change means that PUMAs will now have the opportunity to share their feedback multiple times a year. This will allow everyone to contribute more frequently to improving the work environment at PUMA. Another advantage is, it will only take PUMAs three to five minutes to participate and to share their feedback.

What can PUMAs expect from the new survey process?

Dietmar Knoess: All PUMAs will receive a limited number of questions covering various topics on a regular basis. The surveys will be accessible via different channels (on workday or with the app), catering to both office and non-office employees. Most importantly, your input will continue to be fully anonymous.

How is the rollout of the EMPLOYEE VOICE survey being managed?

Dietmar Knoess: The EMPLOYEE VOICE survey is being deployed gradually across the entire PUMA Group by early 2025. Some regions have already joined the survey in June 2024, some are joining now, and the remaining countries will join by early 2025.

What are the benefits of using Peakon for managers and employees?

Dietmar Knoess: Managers can see real-time feedback and trends, enabling them to address issues promptly. Employees can also see how their feedback compares to their peers over time. This transparency fosters a more responsive and engaged workplace.

What participation rate are you hoping to see with the new platform?

Dietmar Knoess: In our last employee EOS surveys, we had an average participation rate of 85%. I would love to see the same level of engagement on this new platform. So, I encourage all PUMAs to take part in EMPLOYEE VOICE.

What should PUMAs do if they haven’t received a link to participate in the survey?

Dietmar Knoess: If you haven’t received a link to participate in the survey by the end of this week, it means your country will be joining the Employee Voice early in 2025.

Thank you for your continued commitment to making PUMA a great place to work!
