September 30, 2024In a remarkable weekend for golf, Angel Hidalgo celebrated a career milestone by clinching his maiden DP World Tour win. Meanwhile, Chiara Tamburlini continued her impressive season by securing her second Ladies European Tour victory at the Lacoste Open De France, solidifying her status as a rising star in women’s golf.

Dressed head to toe in the latest AW24 PUMA Golf collection, Angel Hidalgo achieved his first DP World Tour victory at the Acciona Open De España. He led from start to finish, ultimately winning in a sudden-death playoff against Jon Rahm with a birdie on the second hole. Hidalgo’s rounds of 65, 67, and 68 gave him a two-shot lead going into the final round, where he scored a -1 70 to force the playoff. This victory boosts him to 18th in the Race to Dubai rankings.

Another COBRA PUMA Golf athlete, Chiara Tamburlini, secured her second Ladies European Tour victory of the season at the Lacoste Open De France. She led with rounds of 68 and 67, maintaining a one-shot lead into the final round at Golf Barriere. A level-par 71 left her tied for first place after three rounds. Tamburlini clinched the title by birdieing the first playoff hole, extending her lead at the top of the LET Order of Merit. Like Angel Hidalgo, Tamburlini was dressed head to toe in the latest AW24 PUMA Golf collection and PUMA footwear throughout the tournament.
