We Celebrate Everywhere!

The month of June stood in the sign of celebrating diversity at PUMA as we came together to embrace Pride month. From headquarters to subsidiaries, our PUMAs worldwide gathered to underline our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Let’s take a tour through our different offices and see how our PUMAs celebrated the values of inclusivity, authenticity and love.

PUMA HQ

At PUMA HQ we hosted the “QUEER ABC Webinar,” shedding light on the diverse LGBTQIAP+ community, and “Training Blink: Alliship,” reminding us of our collective commitment against violence and discrimination. Additionally, our canteen handed out pralines in rainbow colors and we invited the local CSD organization to our summer get-together party, where they had a booth to educate PUMAs about their vital work in the Region. The organization fights for freedom and equal rights, taking action against hostility and discrimination targeted at the LGBTQIA+ community, promoting inclusivity and equality for all.

PUMA Chile & Peru

As we move to PUMA Chile and Peru, the spotlight shone on our very own PUMAFAM members who are part of the LGBTIQ+ community. Through a workshop on diversity, they conveyed the importance of acceptance and understanding. The lively atmosphere was underlined with colorful decorations and delicious cupcakes made the celebration even sweeter.

PUMA Brazil

PUMA Brazil hosted a diversity workshop with an external consultant. Our PUMAs delved into the significance of LGBTQIAP+ representation in the workforce and learned how to be allies, fostering a more inclusive environment. Heartwarming videos showcased the experiences of LGBTQIAP+ individuals at PUMA, highlighting our commitment to embracing everyone for who they are.

PUMA Hongkong

In the spirit of celebrating Pride Month, our PUMAFam in Hong Kong got their hands dirty (Literally!) to create their own rainbow coloured Tshirts, socks, and tote bags. We had a lot of first-time tie dyers, nonetheless, look at all these beautiful creations!

PUMA Thailand

PUMA Thailand joined the celebration with their own unique twist. Our PUMAs in Thailand proudly showed off their diversity by wearing an array of colorful outfits that represented the vibrant spectrum of identities within our PUMA family. The office came alive with a kaleidoscope of colors, and every corner was decorated with Pride-themed decorations.  🌈

PUMA Nordics

In the Nordics, we encountered a creative approach to spreading awareness. Using eye-catching posters, our PUMAs educated their colleagues about the history of Pride and shared catchy “Did you know” facts. The lunchroom was decorated with the posters and pride flags and the posters were shared throughout the teams.

PUMA India

At PUMA India, we were empowered by Ankit Bhuptani, a public speaker and human rights advocate. His fireside chat provided valuable insights into the diverse facets of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, an gamified learning session in form of exciting pride-themed escape rooms where our PUMAs had to crack codes and solve puzzles, brought our employees closer together while promoting inclusion, diversity and pride.

PUMA North America

At PUMA North America, our PumALLiance, the LGBTQIA+ and Allies Employee Resource Group, orchestrated a series of pride events. Workshops on LGBTQ+ language, pronouns, and allyship paved the way for deeper understanding and support. By sponsoring an athletic Pride event in Boston, we not only promoted physical activity but also shattered stereotypes surrounding arts and athletics. At our office, the “WE ARE EVERYWHERE” lounge came alive with a spectacular drag performance, symbolizing the power of inclusivity and love. Moreover, our partnership with the Trevor Project for the “REFORM the Locker Room” initiative showcased our dedication to creating a positive environment for LGBTQ+ youth.

PUMA subsidiary stichd

Last but not least, our subsidiary stichd surprised employees across their offices in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Nordics, and Barcelona with colorful rainbow cakes. This simple yet sweet gesture spread happiness and awareness for pride month throughout the organization.

As the Pride month celebrations came to an end, the spirit of togetherness and acceptance continues to thrive at PUMA. Our employees worldwide showed immense dedication and passion in organizing these activities, leaving a lasting impact on our PUMA community.
