December 20, 2023Tillykke Danmark! The PUMA team rocked the court, clinching bronze in a handball showdown against Sweden with a razor-thin 28:27 victory at this year’s WWC.
In the bronze game against co-host Sweden, Denmark powered through and kept the upper hand thanks to top scorers Kristina Jørgensen, Mie Højlund and Anne Mette Hansen, who netted five goals each, sealing the deal and making Denmark and our PUMAFam proud.
High-fives all around!
Also our PUMA athletes Anna Lagerqvist for Sweden and Henny Reistad for Norway shone bright on the court. Henny was named MVP of the tournament after winning the silver medal with Norway while Sweden landed on the 4th place while our PUMA Teams Germany and Czech Republic finished 6th and 8th.
