A$AP Rocky’s Paris Fashion Week Debut: Where Art Meets Street

June 24, 2024

Last Friday, June 21, the fashion world converged at the Hôtel de Maisons in Paris for a groundbreaking event: A$AP Rocky’s AWGE collection runway show. Titled “American Sabotage,” this debut collection was more than just a display of style—it was a powerful statement against the status quo. The collection was styled with newly released and upcoming footwear and accessories from his A$AP Rocky x PUMA collections. Take a look!

Rocky, known for his boundary-pushing creativity, curated 30 meticulously crafted looks that blended OG expressionism with high fashion. The runway featured pieces adorned with phrases like “POLITICAL SATIRE” and oversized silhouettes inspired by New York street scenes. The American bald eagle and flag motif took on rebellious tones.

But it wasn’t just about clothing. The runway showcased our footwear collaborations, including the limited re-issue of the OG Inhale shoe—a summer-melon high-risk red masterpiece hand-picked from the PUMA Archive. And don’t miss the classic PUMA Speedcat, available now on PUMA.com in both black and red.

The show marked the triumphant return of the Mostro and Mostro 3.D sneakers. The Mostro, an iconic silhouette from PUMA’s storied archives, defies convention and remains a work of art since its groundbreaking debut in 1999. Meanwhile, the 3.D style, exclusively designed for the runway, represents PUMA’s foray into fully 3D-printed footwear. Its signature spiked sole draws inspiration from emphasizing the interesting and unconventional—a style that resonated with Rocky.
