PAST AND PRESENT

When City take to the road they put on a show, turning heads with exciting, technical football. The new jersey has been designed in tribute to a classic City style worn during one of their most successful eras, the class of 1969, and celebrates the Club’s heritage of playing fearless football. Conceived by the legendary Malcolm Allison, the kit featured red and black vertical stripes that proved triumphant at the 1969 FA Cup Final, and the 1970 League Cup and European Cup Winner’ Cup Final, earning their place among the fans all-time favorites. For the first time ever, we have placed the stripes at an angle, to pay tribute to the three rivers on the Club’s crest to create a bold and striking design.

STAND OUT

The new Third kit is made for those who stand out and never hold back. Inspired by the city of Milan, the Rossoneri blend brilliant football and effortless style together like no other team. The new olive-green jersey features a tonal graphic of the flag of Milan that has been placed in the center of the jersey to honor the passion and pride of the Milanese people. The jersey integrates subtle yellow accents and finishes to compliment the inherent Milanese style.
“Milan is an immensely proud city steeped in culture and style. We wanted to do something very different and unique with the new Third jersey by utilizing a new trend driven color to match the forward-thinking fashion of Milan,” Marco Mueller, PUMA Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel.

REIGNING CHAMPS

HOME: Senegal gets their groove (back) on. When hundreds of millions tuned in for the opening match of the 2002 World Championship, they witnessed an iconic moment in football history. Senegal took the lead over the reigning champions, and the team’s celebratory dance routine became part of football folklore. The Lions won, then went on to reach the quarter-finals in their heroic first run at the tournament. Twenty years on, the new Home jersey celebrates national legends with a retro design inspired by their era.
AWAY: Fast meets ferocious in the new Senegal Away kit. The national flag, federation emblem, and “Les Lions” lettering take center stage, complemented by an abstract graphic of a lion’s mouth to celebrate the bravery and intensity shown by the Lions of Teranga, Africa’s reigning champions.

"BORUSSIA VERBINDET"

The traditional black and yellow jersey evokes memories of BVB’s beginnings, featuring a special graphic representing the windows of the Wildschütz inn, building a bridge to BVB’s founding history. Founded on December 19, 1909, it was clear BVB was different from other clubs. 18 youngsters came together to start the Ballspielverein Borussia in the “Zum Wildschütz” inn on Borsigplatz. This legendary birthplace serves as the inspiration for this season’s Home jersey.
The “Borussia Verbindet” lettering can be seen on the neck of the black and yellow jersey, a reminder that all odds can be overcome if you stick together. Then just like now, Borussia unites people through generations as one unified club.
