Take It To-Go!

There’s only one FOREVER. Let’s make it BETTER. 🌱 On our way to becoming more sustainable, our PUMA HQ canteen is always coming up with new ideas. Their latest idea: reusable to-go boxes for food takeaway! They are 100% recyclable, BPA free, made in Germany and suitable for microwaves as well as refrigerators. They even have a lifetime of at least 100-150 wash cycles, before they get recycled.

Did you know that every year, the use of disposable tableware generates 280,000 tons of waste? To counteract this, our canteen is introducing new packaging in cooperation with OneBox2Go. By using them, our PUMAs can actively contribute to the reduction of packaging waste. Each box costs €5, but upon return you get the money back!

Our canteen first started their contributions to sustainability in 2009, when we introduced “Meat Free Monday”. Since then, we are still offering meatless meals every Monday. On top of this, last month our canteen also participated in Veganuary. A total of 4,176 people took part by choosing our vegan offerings!
