PUMA and London-based designer Charlotte Olympia are back at it again. The creative direction of the newest collection is driven by superwomen of the circus—those strong, beautiful and distinctive representations of femininity. Motivated by this empowering theme, for our outfit we went with a bold retro-glam meets circus spectacle, sure to impress any audience.

The Shoes

In this charismatic capsule, glamourous designs merge with modern silhouettes, as per Charlotte Olympia’s modus operandi; and as for the shoes—we were immediately captured by the Rise Nu trainers in black. Oversized bow laces and playful ruffles sit atop an ultra-comfy foam midsole and rubber outsole. Luxurious details stand out, such as glossy patent leather wrapping and glittering gold accents. Adaptable, opulent and feminine, these ones were made for hustlers with high hopes

The Outfit

Alluring, out-of-the-box, powerful and timeless—these were some of the words that came to mind when styling the sneakers. In that vein, the first item called to the stage is this plush shearling vest. Classy, cozy, and most definitely in charge, vests are super versatile pieces for the colder months, plus the unique texture reminds us of a lion that refuses to be tamed.

Seductive and sophisticated, bodysuits are becoming culturally iconic. Radiating an effortless elegance, we are fully embracing the trending ensemble essential; luckily, we were spoiled for choice as the PUMAxCO collection offers multiple different catsuits and leotards. We went with this simple black unitard, urging us to celebrate our inner acrobat. Overtop, the matching black bomber with satin-esque red lining was an obvious supporting character.

Finally, these gorgeous red leather pants are total showstoppers. Bringing a bold and eccentric energy to the look, they’re more than making a statement—they’re shouting it.

The Accessories

No outfit is really perfect without the right accessories, so we were generous with the aesthetic additions. Adorned with roses, this silky scarf matches the colour palette of the outfit and throws another glamourous texture into the mix. A lavish black leather and gold belt cinches your waist, creating that classic hourglass outline. Coiled gold earrings are sculptural and timeless, easily harmonizing with the rest of the look.

The matching black-leather-with-silver-studs phone case and handbag combo work as your practical yet fabulous necessities. A playful black satin headwrap with bow embellishments accentuates the styling and (literally) ties up the look, coordinating with the bow detailing of the sneakers. Last but never least, a striking red lip is the final feminine detail that powers up the whole program.
