PUMA and Juun.J are back with their second footwear collaboration, giving the PUMA Speedcat a bold, stealth-inspired makeover. Renowned South Korean designer Juun.J infuses his signature style—an edgy mix of high fashion and functional design—into this sleek and structural reinterpretation. To celebrate the new Speedcat iterations, we’ve curated a pair of looks that embody the collection’s shadowy allure.

The Shoes

Last year, Juun.J reimagined the Plexus sneaker, and now the designer returns for his second collaboration with PUMA, unveiling the reimagined Speedcat. This refreshed design leans into modern minimalism with deep, shadowy colorways, available in both high and low-top styles. The upper boasts armour-like restructured lines that define the toebox with precision, while rippling contours on the PUMA Formstrip add a subtle, tactile dimension. 

Debossed logos on the toe and upper lend a sleek, understated nod to branding, with the high-top version featuring a signature Juun.J strap closure. Finishing the design, tire-inspired tread patterns on the outsole pay homage to the Speedcat’s motorsport heritage and F1 racing roots.

The Outfits

Juun.J is a celebrated South Korean designer known for his avant-garde approach and precise fusion of classic tailoring with contemporary aesthetics. He often explores oversized silhouettes, deconstruction, and a monochromatic palette, creating pieces that feel fresh off the runway while still firmly rooted in streetwear identity. Influenced by this creative direction we’ve put together two outfit options to accompany the latest Speedcat release.

The first look runs with the ‘street tailoring’ approach characteristic of Juun.J, starting strong with shadowy smooth trousers that display a wide-legged cut for extra effect. A cashmere turtleneck adds refined texture and powerful elegance, while a fitted leather and shearling gilet gives a sense of relaxed comfort within its subtle structure. On the other side of the shadows, the second look boldly builds from the high-top version of the sneakers. Beginning with a pair of barrel-cut denim jeans (inspired by a style that is particularly trendy at the moment), the entire look is defined by its distinct shapes. Above the pants comes a classical and minimal black tee, but oomph is added in the form of a daring black bustier worn overtop the tee, bringing an aspect of haute couture to the more urban shape. Top it off with an airy overshirt and a textured leather jacket with a shearling collar for an appealing lived-in vibe that exudes confident nonchalance.

The Accessories

The accessories lean into sleek minimalism with a touch of avant-garde artistry. The first look features a durable crossbody bag that merges on-trend design with functional materials, paired with a seasonal must-have: a ribbed knit black balaclava that brings utilitarian chic to the forefront.
