I Choose You!

For the first time PUMA pairs with Pokémon in a creative collection full of whimsy and childhood charm. Inspired by fan-favourite Pokémon characters, the series showcases footwear, apparel and accessories that feature iconic graphics, playful detailing and eye-catching colours.

This one’s for your inner child ─ a funky everyday look that incorporates pieces from the new drop.

The Shoes

Sneakers from the collection focus on beloved characters from the wildly popular series ─ catch the PUMA Suede, Rider FV and TRC Blaze Court spotlighting the familiar faces of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Gengar with authentic hidden details on the tongue label, insole and heel. For today’s outfit we ran with the Slipstreams newly transformed in Charmander’s style – fiery colors, cool cobranding and a Charmander trinket to boot.

The Outfit

Accompanying apparel items from the collection are richly shaded with Pokémon graphics splashed across an assortment of comfy cotton T-shirts, relaxed crews, hoodies and sweatpants. Plus, most items come in a range of sizes perfect for the whole family.

For this outfit of the day, we opted for the effortless black tee with an instantly recognizable Pikachu graphic emblazoned across the chest and standing out from the shadow. Over this comes a super fuzzy mohair-blend sweater with argyle print to bring in that playful pop of purple. The quirky texture and offbeat print play with the attitude of the look, while the two secondary colours (purple and orange) pair well and balance each other. On top finish up with a statement item from the line ─ the sherpa jacket in a soft purple, yellow and black. Gaining traction in the fashion world, the sherpa jacket is the perfect outer layer for this time of year. Below all this comes a more elegant pair of trousers in a soft cashmere material and a rich forest green to ground the louder colours while adding another texture into the mix.

The Accessories

Accessories from the line continue the adventure and include snapbacks, beanies, messenger bags and backpacks ─ for today’s look we chose a classically cool beanie in faded yellow and black with Pikachu once again peeking out from the brim. Then we added an artful leather belt bag in a bright orange that matches the Slipstreams, plus a funky pair of softly tie-dyed purple socks that go with the shading of the sweater and jacket. Finally, a pair of black fingerless gloves add a flavour of contemporary streetwear and protect your hands while you’re catching all those Pokémon.
