First of all, congratulations on signing a contract with RB Leipzig until 2027 – What do you particularly like about RB Leipzig’s style of play?
Julia: Thank you very much! I think it fits really well with PUMA now. I like the fact that we want to play boldly forwards and score quickly. You can see in our preparations that we are definitely making great progress. I believe that if we continue to work well, we can play a big role in the Bundesliga in the next few years.
What goals would you like to pursue with RB Leipzig during this time?
Julia: We really have top conditions in Leipzig. A lot is happening. Everything that has happened in the last few months and last year is really good progress. And of course it’s no secret: we want to play in the Champions League. I already have a bit of experience in the league from my time at FC Bayern, but I’d like to play a bigger role.
Women’s football has developed rapidly in recent years. Ever larger stadiums are being sold out, media coverage has increased, etc. What do you wish for the future?
Julia: Yes, definitely. I hope it continues like this. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement. That’s another reason why I hope that we keep at it. So that a steady development is visible and we, as athletes, can make a living from our sport.

How does it feel for you as a PUMA athlete that the club you play for is now also sponsored by PUMA?
Julia: Very good. When I found out, I was really pleased. I think PUMA in general is a perfect fit for Leipzig. They are both so dynamic and have speed in their DNA. That’s why I’m very happy about it.
Do you like the new kits?
Julia: Yes, definitely. I particularly like the red Away Kit. They also feel very good.
