January 7, 2025A new era begins with the first-ever Portugal national team kits made by PUMA — featuring bespoke designs for both Home and Away jerseys for the men’s and women’s teams. The new kits reinterpret the Quinas emblem from Portugal’s national coat of arms and feature the signature Portuguese colors, celebrating a legacy of brilliant football while setting the stage for the next generation to shine even brighter.
In Portugal, doing things ‘por amor à camisola’ or ‘for the love of the jersey’, means doing things out of passion, commitment, and love for the cause, endeavor, or team. The new Portugal Home kit captures this emotion and features distinct designs for the men’s and women’s teams. The men’s jersey shows a classic red base with gold and green detailing with a crew neck collar. The women’s jersey features a red base with green, mint and black detailing and a custom crew neck collar.
Each Home and Away kit reinterprets the Quinas emblem from the national coat of arms in ways that celebrate Portugal’s legacy of brilliant football while setting the stage for the next generation to shine even brighter.

The Home and Away jerseys come in Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey, used by players, features PUMA’s lightweight ULTRAWEAVE fabric for top performance. The Replica jersey has the same design but offers a relaxed fit for everyday comfort. Both types include PUMA’s dryCELL technology to keep wearers dry and comfortable.
Reflecting PUMA’s commitment to sustainability, our Replica jerseys are part of the RE:FIBRE initiative. They are mad with at least 95% recycled textile waste and polyester. The initiative represents a significant step towards a more circular and sustainable production process for football jerseys.
