December 6, 2024PUMA and music artist, creative, and designer A$AP Rocky have been named the “Collaboration of the Year” at the Footwear News Achievement Awards. Also known as the Shoe Oscars, the FNAAs celebrate the style icons and leaders who have creatively shaped the industry by offering new perspectives, innovative designs and captivating narratives.

After he had accepted the award, Rocky was joined on stage by superstar Rihanna and the PUMA team including our CEO Arne Freundt. Eight years ago, Rihanna also had a special moment at the FNAAs with PUMA, when she won “Shoe of the Year” for the PUMA Fenty Creeper.

Ever since he was named Creative Director of PUMA’s F1 partnership in October 2023, A$AP Rocky has offered a completely new perspective on motorsport by blending streetwear, motorsport design, and cultural innovation. The high-impact collections he unveiled with PUMA so far have truly pushed the boundaries of traditional sportswear.
