September 26, 2024Located on the outskirts of Herzogenaurach, close to Nuremberg in Bavaria, our PUMA HQ is a vibrant center of creativity and teamwork. Our bustling office hosts all global functions, including Finance, Global IT, Global DTC, GTM, four Business Units, and Global Marketing, among others. The collaboration between all these departments is, what makes our Herzo HQ so special and fuels PUMAs unique Speed and Spirit every day.
At Herzogenaurach, we take pride in our diverse and inclusive culture. We celebrate a wide range of religious, cultural, and socially significant holidays and festivals, from Easter and Ramadan to Diwali, Holi, Pride, to International Women’s Day, there’s always a reason to come together and celebrate. And if there is no holiday, festival or other special occasion on the horizon, our canteen team ensures we still have little treats and specials to enjoy and fosters our sense of community and inclusivity.
Did you know our two Herzo buildings are named after the New York neighborhoods of SoHo and NoHo? Here, they stand for South Herzo and North Herzo! Another fun fact about our Herzo Location: Adidas offices are directly in the neighbourhood and they have to drive under our PUMA bridge to reach them, which they aren’t too happy about! 😉

What makes Herzo such a special PUMA location?
Herzogenaurach is a special place, and that is mainly because of the people who work here. It’s the conversations in the coffee queue, the inspiring ideas for new projects and the friendly greetings on the bridge that make this place so unique. The support you get as the deadline approaches is priceless. But it’s also the speed and the vibration you feel every day. We love challenges in Herzogenaurach and enjoy our agility (others might call it chaos ;))

There have been so many incredible and great experiences in the almost 14 years I’ve been here – but one of my highlights was a joint BBQ with the German National Handball team. As a fangirl, that was something very special.
What makes Herzo such a special PUMA location?
I think it’s a great place to work – its the combination of the People, the facilities (I mean a gym, football court, paddle court and much more right on our doorstep) the atmosphere, the product I work on, the events and the constant gestures (for specific days or holidays or just a nice summers day)

Wow! That’s pretty much impossible I have been here 9 years and I have had so many incredible opportunities. Some I could not even of dreamed off. From Presenting an Art Piece to Xavi Simons, Celebrating my Puma Collaboration with the whole Company, playing football with Kidsuper, Showing ASAP Rocky some first ideas and Drinking tequila with Skepta.

Before I started working at PUMA, while I was applying for internships, I met by chance a content creator who initially sparked my passion for sports products, especially football gear. I told him how he had inspired me and how I was looking to break into the industry because he showed me those opportunities existed. We stayed in touch after that meeting, and four years later, I had the chance to welcome him to our office in my role at PUMA. It was a full-circle moment, showing him around and sharing that experience with him.
