Meet our Austrian PUMA Fam and see their Salzburg Office

September 5, 2024

Our PUMA Around The World Journey continues to Austria! Nestled in the heart of Salzburg, the PUMA office is a dynamic hub and home to a diverse range of business functions, including Customer Service, Digital Solutions, Finance, IT, Legal, Logistics, Marketing, P & O, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse. The Salzburg PUMAFam is known for their vibrant culture, where collaboration and creativity thrive. Let’s take a closer look at our PUMA Salzburg office!

The Salzburg office is not just a workplace; it’s a community where traditions are upheld and living out the fun adds a unique flavor to the daily grind. From enjoying Faschingskrapfen on Shrove Tuesday or a Christmas brunch on 23rd of December to annually celebrating International Women’s Day and participating in the Wings 4 Life run, the office is alive with activities that bring everyone together. To highlight the office’s community spirit and identity with the brand, PUMA Salzburg took over the sponsorship of a puma mother and her kitten, Dylan, at the local zoo — the name Dylan was chosen by the team themselves 🐈‍⬛!

📣 What our Salzburg PUMAs say

To truly capture the essence of the Salzburg office, we asked PUMAs to share what makes Salzburg such a special PUMA location, how they describe the office in three words and what their best memories are.

Monika Steiner, Senior Manager Legal & Compliance EEMEA, describes the Salzburg office as

“Dynamic, Collaborative, Inspiring“

“The open layout encourages collaboration and creativity, and the energy here is always dynamic and positive. Whether it’s brainstorming sessions or casual catch-ups over lunch, there’s a real sense of community that makes working here feel like being part of a family.”

Her favorite memory is the celebration of PUMA’s 75th anniversary

“All employees, from new team members to long-time employees, came together to celebrate this milestone—the PUMA history. There were speeches, great performances, and many interactive sports stations where we, as employees, could actively participate. The evening ended with a feeling of pride and community that was still palpable long after the celebration. It was an unforgettable experience and a perfect example of the strong team spirit and enthusiasm that define PUMA.”

Thomas Abed Raboh, Manager SAP SD/MM EEMEA, values the strong cohesion within the team, which truly lets the office become a family. To him, the Salzburg office stands for

“Modern design, open space, and adjustable workstations”

“One of the best things in the office that comes to mind is that we regularly hold a charity sale where the sales will be donated.”

Valentina Dalmau, Intern Marketing EEMEA Distribution, emphasizes that the most important part of the Salzburg office are

“Definitely the people, who bring it to life and create a great atmosphere.”

She describes the office as

“Fun, Vibrant, and Supportive”

“One of the best things was our team event at the Red Bull Stadium, where we watched an FC Salzburg game. Even though it wasn’t in the office, it was a great chance to hang out with colleagues in a fun setting. The match was nice, and it was enjoyable to catch up with everyone outside of work.”

For Dominik Wieser, Manager IT Infrastructure EEMEA, is the Salzburg office

“Modern, Efficient and Welcoming”

He highlights the office’s role as a service provider for all EEMEA locations, making it a unique hub.

“We got new floor panels delivered for the 3rd Floor which were over 50 packages. It was only one delivery person onside and the old office didn´t have an elevator to the 3rd floor. So, the whole office decided to help out and we formed a Human chain from the ground floor to the 3rd Floor. We all delivered the 50 packages in 10 minutes to the 3rd floor and gave the delivery person something to drink for his next stops.”

Sebastian Abed Raboh

Manger SAP Basis EEMEA

“Puma is not just our working place, it’s a place of fun, professionalism, growing together and learn from each other – this makes the Pumafamily.”

Theresa Köster

Manager Marketing EEMEA Distribution

“People say you should work to live and not live to work, and I believe in the same phrase. But work is the place you are spending most of your time, so it´s actually a very important part of your life. The place and people at work should be something you like to spend most of your time with, and I am very happy to say that at PUMA Austria, I have found a place and people I love spending my time with. A place to go home to.“

Our PUMA office in Salzburg is more than just a workplace; it’s a vibrant community where innovation, collaboration, and a strong sense of PUMA Fam identity come together. You certainly look good, PUMA Salzburg!
