PUMA India Unveils ‘YOU NEED BALLS’ Campaign
Starring top cricketers to redefine on-field aggression in women’s cricket
Last summer, Julien showcased her incredible talent by winning gold in the women’s 100m final of the Paris Olympics with a personal best of 10.72 seconds and securing a silver medal in the 200m with a time of 22.08 seconds. Her remarkable performances not only highlighted that at just 23 years old, she is one of the fastest women on the planet, but they also marked a historic moment for her home country of St. Lucia: Her medals were the first Olympic medals for the small Caribbean nation with fewer than 200,000 inhabitants.
Julien joined PUMA in 2023, after she experienced a meteoric rise. She was undefeated in the 100 metres during the 2022 NCAA season, and she picked up a silver medal in the same event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022. In 2023, she became the first woman in NCAA history to break the seven second barrier in the 60 metres.
From all of us at PUMA, congratulations Julien!
