April 25, 2023Last Saturday, PUMA athlete and testicular cancer survivor Sébastien Haller shared an important message on his mission to raise awareness for the fight and prevention against cancer.
During Borussia Dortmund’s home match vs Eintracht Frankfurt, Sébastien had a very special message to share. Written on his customized PUMA ULTRA he was sporting the words “CHECK YOUR 🥜” along with “TESTICULAR CANCER AWARENESS MONTH”.
Since his full recovery, Sébastien has taken the responsibility to increase awareness about this severe illness and the danger posed by it. His message highlights the importance of regular checkups to prevent others from experiences and diagnoses like his.
"We need to check. You cannot be ashamed. We are not checking only for ourselves but also for our family and friends and those around us. It can save a lot of lives.”

To show our support with Sébastien and take up a stance against cancer, we have donated to the Ligue Contre Le Cancer on the occasion of Testicular Cancer Awareness Month. The charity, with which Sébastien has been working before, aims to improve the treatment of people with cancer as well as to advance in research and development of new treatments and methods to fight cancer.
