July 31, 2023The 2023 Diamond League is still in full swing and our PUMA Athletes are continuing to dominate in their disciplines. The eighth-tenth Diamond League meetings took place in Silesia, Monaco and London. JuVaughn Harrison, Mutaz Essa Barshim and Thomas Carmoy dominated the high jump in London by claiming all three medals, while newly signed Julien Alfred claimed her first medal in PUMA with a 200m silver medal in Monaco.
Eighth Meeting of Diamond League in Silesia, Poland
🥇 Mondo Duplantis (SWE) in pole vault, with 6.01m
🥇 Mutaz Barshim (QAT) in high jump, with 2.36m – claiming the world lead and meeting record!
🥈 Shericka Jackson (JAM) in 100m, with 10.78m (+0.2)
🥈 Gianmarco Tamberi (ITA) in high jump, with 2.34m
🥈 Nicola Olyslagers (AUS) in high jump, with 1.98m – claiming the meeting record.
🥉 Ewa Swoboda (POL) in 100m, with 10.94 (+0.2) – breaking the 11s barrier for the first time!
🥉 Leyanis Hernandez Perez (CUB) in triple jump with 14.67m (+0.2), making it her third Diamond League podium of the season.

🥇 Gold for Karsten Warholm (NOR) in the 400m hurdles! His run led him to the world lead, the meeting record AND a Diamond League Record.
🥇 Nicole Olyslagers (AUS) in high jump, with 1.99m
🥇 Larissa Iappichino (ITA) in long jump, with 6.95m

High Jump Domination
PUMA Athletes dominated the high jump in Silesia, with JuVaughn Harrison (USA), Mutaz Essa Barshim (QAT) and Thomas Carmoy (BEL) going head to head in a battle for the gold medal. JuVaughn came out on top after a nail-biting close event.
