June is a time when we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, celebrating the progress made towards equality and recognizing the ongoing struggle for acceptance and rights. By embracing Pride Month, PUMA not only supports its LGBTQIA+ employees but also reinforces a culture of inclusivity that resonates with customers and partners worldwide. Everyone, regardless of who they love or how they identify, has a valued place in the PUMA family. This celebration is a powerful reminder that when we uplift one another, we all move forward together.

HERZOGENAURACH HQ

In celebration of Pride Month, PUMA headquarters hosted a series of vibrant and inclusive events. The activities kicked off on June 11th with a Friendship Bracelet DIY session, followed by an entertaining Drag PUMA Karaoke event. The following day, the atmosphere was filled with music as a Queer PUMA Spotify playlist echoed through both coffee bars, followed by a cozy movie night. On June 13th, everyone could enjoy some colourful snacks from the Candy Bar while testing their knowledge in a Queer Quiz. Throughout these events, a Photo Box was available, capturing the joy and unity of the celebrations. These activities not only brought smiles and laughter but also fostered a sense of community and acceptance, truly embodying the spirit of Pride Month.

SPAIN

PUMA’s offices in Spain, have also launched initiatives to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, demonstrating their commitment to visibility and support. The PRIDE initiative in Spain, led by Pedro Moscoso, Director of Marketing for Southern Europe, is not just about sports, but a celebration of equality and inclusion. By partnering with local non-profit sports organizations, PUMA emphasizes that everyone deserves a place in sports, regardless of their identity or who they love. PUMA athletes and ambassadors actively participated, reinforcing the importance of a safe and welcoming sports environment. PUMA Spain also organizes various activities, including talks, training sessions, and friendly matches, involving not just employees but the broader community, to promote inclusion and raise awareness.

NORTH AMERICA

PUMA North America’s pumALLiance group made a strong showing at the Boston Pride for the People Parade, a vibrant event that celebrated and honoured the LGBTQIA+ community. The month’s festivities finished with the ALPFA Boston Pride Mixer on June 18th. This event not only celebrated Pride Month, but also showcased ALPFA Pride Programming and their ongoing efforts towards the LGBTQIA+ Community. It highlighted the benefits of membership and provided a platform for board members from the LGBTQIA+ Community to share their experiences with ALPFA Boston. Adding a fun twist to the proceedings, PUMA North America hosted a LGBTQIA+ themed Jeopardy. This served as a networking event for the members of ALPFA, PUMA’s year-round talent partner that connects Latino leaders for impact through professional development, career opportunities, events, and partnerships.

VIETNAM 
PUMA Vietnam marked PRIDE month with a two-day celebration on June 13th and 14th. The event kicked off with a screening of the film “Call Me By Your Name”, a moving representation of same-sex love. This was followed by a tea-break session on the next day, which included discussions about the significance of PRIDE month, interactive mentee games, and a relaxing tea-break.

HONG KONG

PUMA Hong Kong celebrated PRIDE month with a Rainbow Chocolate Strawberry Workshop, symbolizing diversity in love just like the rainbow and the sweetness of life just like the strawberries. The event also featured educational stands, spreading awareness about the importance of PRIDE month.
