Grand Opening of Our
New Hong Kong Office

Last week, we marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of our new office in Kai Tak, the vibrant heart of sports in Hong Kong. This state-of-the-art space will be the new home for our Global Sourcing and Local Commercial Teams, providing a modern and inspiring environment for our most valuable asset: our people. And what better way to bring this office to life than with a traditional celebration together with our CEO, CSO, other leaders and trusted suppliers? Here are some highlights from the event.

On September 2nd, the festivities kicked off with a Townhall meeting. Our CEO, Arne Freundt, along with CSO Anne-Laure Descours and Indy Sen, shared exciting news and updates. Over 250 members of the PUMA family gathered to celebrate and engage with our leaders. Arne addressed a variety of questions from our Hong Kong team, covering topics from sales forecasts and career growth to experiences at the Paris PUMA House.

A Spectacular Start

The opening ceremony began with a ribbon-cutting, symbolizing a fresh start for our new office. This was followed by a traditional Chinese Lion Dance parade, a vibrant display that brought good fortune and prosperity to PUMA. The lions even visited our workstations, spreading blessings and adding a touch of cultural flair to the day. To keep the energy high, PUMA Fam and guests enjoyed delicious treats throughout the event.

A Gathering of Partners

We were honored to host over 50 external guests, including suppliers and business partners. It was a wonderful opportunity for the PUMA family to reconnect with those they work closely with. The cheers and joyful faces added a bright and colorful atmosphere to the celebration.

Our New Home in Kai Tak

Our new PUMA office is strategically located in the center of Kai Tak, a former airport site that has been transformed into a bustling commercial and sports hub. This prime location perfectly aligns with our mission to push sports and culture forward. With its close proximity to the Kai Tak Sports Park, a premier venue for international sports events and a training ground for Hong Kong’s top athletes, our new office is set to soar to new heights.

Our new co-sharing office at AIRSIDE brings together PUMA Group Sourcing, PUMA Asia Pacific, and PUMA Hong Kong entities under one roof. We’ve infused the space with local Hong Kong flavor, naming our meeting rooms and phone booths after popular Hong Kong locations and snacks. A standout feature is the Traditional Chinese metal gate, adorned with sports-related encouragements and our brand name, adding a unique cultural touch.

The new office boasts an AGILE environment designed to foster collaboration and innovation. With an increased number of meeting rooms and booths, and a clean desk policy, our PUMA Fam can enjoy flexible seating arrangements and enhanced communication.
