From Old to Gold 💚

PUMA Hong Kong teamed up with CIC-Zero Carbon Park to host an exciting SWOP SHOP event. This initiative brought together the PUMA Family and participants from Hong Kong, who exchanged their gently used sportswear and activewear. Over 60 dedicated PUMA employees from both, office and retail, volunteered at the event, assisting with sorting clothes, collecting donations, and managing the check-out counters. Thanks to their efforts, PUMA donated over 70 full boxes of collected clothes to the Crossroads Foundation, ensuring these garments are either recycled or distributed to those in need. This not only extends the lifecycle of the clothes but also promotes a sustainable fashion lifestyle. 👚

The PUMA Hong Kong office has been organizing the SWOP SHOP for four years now. Our goal is to raise awareness about sustainable consumption, extend the life of garments, and provide people in need with a chance to renew their wardrobe for free. This year, we collaborated with Adaptive Clothing, a local NGO, to offer a free sewing workshop. Their mission aligns perfectly with ours: to reduce waste and extend the lifecycle of garments.

A special thanks to CIC-ZCP for generously providing the venue for free. Their mission is to raise awareness about the importance of green building design both locally and internationally, and to promote ecological values and a low-carbon lifestyle.
