HOW IT IS DONE
To calculate if there is a pay gap, salary differences are assessed based on managerial responsibility, tenure in the role, type of employment, and job evaluation in terms of required skills and impact on the organization in the country of analysis. In order to certify equality in its remuneration policy, PUMA Italy assessed the salaries for each role in a gender-neutral manner, focusing exclusively on the characteristics of the job to be performed rather than the individual characteristics of the employee. This allowed for a standardised and transparent process for the definition of remuneration and salary increases.
