November 17, 2022PUMA Korea Hosts First Ever Sports Day to Bring Employees Together
November 17, 2022Forever faster and together faster! PUMA Korea holds its first ever sports day to bring the employees together in team spirit. Around 100 employees joined in the activities on October 27th in PUMA Futsal Town in the Misa area. Read below to find out more about the day!
The employees were mixed into four teams and created team names based on our PUMA Brand Values: Team Be Joyful, Team Be Determined, Team Be Brave and Team Be Confident. There were lots of different sports on offer, including a stacking game, archery, padminton, team ball rolling, Squid Game, tug of war and futsal. The Squid Game activity was inspired by the well-known Squid Game Korean TV show, where the employees played “Red Light Green Light”. The teams competed for not just money or vouchers, they were given a budget with which the winning team was to have lunch or dinner together to bring together their team spirit.
The event was a great way to connect employees, especially the many post-covid newcomers and the new management. The PUMA Korea Team welcomed their all new senior leadership team, including a new General Manager, NaYoung Lee. What a great way to bring everyone together!
Lending a Helping Hand
Not only did PUMA Korea provide the employees with a day full of different sports, they also used the sports day as a way to help those less fortunate and provide care for society. The employees assembled some bicycle parts and donated bicycles to HyangLim Rehabilitation – an organisation that provides care for the disabled and children. Being able to help the children was a very meaningful opportunity for the team. 💙
