August 30, 2024As a celebration of PUMA & HYROX’s global partnership and as a preheat of the HYROX race occurring in Hong Kong in coming November, the PUMA APAC office in Hong Kong organized a one-day Mini HYROX competition. More than 50 Hong Kong based PUMAs joined. They all teamed up to overcome a series of physical and cardio challenges, striving for a Forever. Faster. self-improvement progress. Take a look!
The race has 4×200 meter runs and four simplified physical workouts to be completed by a relay team, with the aim of letting everyone join the race with ease. After professional coaches explained the correct posture of HYROX tasks, the race started off with crowds cheering for each team. Each team overcomes the challenges with strategic allocation of tasks before the race and support from each other on that day. With Managing Director Hong Kong, Adrien Semblat, being the guest of honor for the prize ceremony in the end, teams celebrated their achievements with medals & presents to close out the day.
Physical fitness is always one of our priorities in the Hong Kong office. When the PUMA Family does sport activities they are interested in, it brings positivity and growth to the working environment. It is great to see the team spirit and the "never give up attitude" they are building though HYROX.
At PUMA’s Hong Kong office, everyone enjoyed the day with many fond memories, stronger bonds and a passion to champion the world’s fastest sports brand. And this is just the beginning of a series of HYROX promotions in APAC.
Geared Up for HYROX race
The HYROX Asia Pacific Finals race – Cigna Healthcare HYROX Open Asian Championship – will take place in Hong Kong on November 23 and 24, 2024. More than 35 applicants from Hong Kong and even more from APAC and PGS countries will sign up for the race with the full support of PUMA APAC and undergo a three-month training program to be well prepared physically and mentally for the race. Participants will also be sponsored with our latest PUMA running shoes “Deviate NITRO™ 3” to equip them with the best footwear for HYROX racing.
In the future, we will continue our efforts to promote regular HYROX training and support PUMA Fams to participate in HYROX races in Asia Pacific, but also globally, to cultivate a sports culture for employees to see the game like we do!
