March 15, 2024“Reducing our CO2 emissions is a priority for PUMA, both in the supply chain and in our own offices, stores and warehouses, being placed on the CDP ‘A List’ is a great recognition of our efforts, but we will not be complacent and continue to sharpen our decarbonization goals."
PUMA has made the CDP ‘A-List’ 2023 for the second year in a row. Out of 23,000 companies that responded to CDP’s climate change questionnaire, PUMA is one of a small number of companies to receive an ‘A‘.
“For signatories of the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, disclosing data to CDP is a fundamental requirement, as transparency is essential to the analysis and understanding of climate action and progress. We congratulate and thank PUMA for its continued leadership in this space.”
PUMA has also been recognized by the CDP as a supplier engagement leader in climate.
This recognition is based on a CDP rating for how effectively companies are engaging their suppliers on climate change and taking action to measure and reduce climate risk in their supply chain. Companies responding to the full CDP Climate Change questionnaire receive a Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) in addition to their Climate Change score. The companies with the best SER are named as Supplier Engagement Leaders.
