July 13, 2021PUMA Oceania has opened its Australian flagship store at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne. With 330sqm it is the largest PUMA flagship store in Australia. The new centerpiece retail offering honours PUMA’s sports heritage with a strong focus on football, running, training and basketball, whilst also showcasing our established sports lifestyle collections including Suede, Cali and Mayze.
The opening of our new Chadstone store demonstrates the confidence we have in the future of bricks-and-mortar retail in Australia. We are able to bring PUMA’s iconic sporting performance and lifestyle credentials to the fashion capital of Australia. PUMA continues to outperform our growth targets in the region, and the Chadstone store opening increases the PUMA brand presence in Australia. We have designed the Chadstone store to uniquely balance PUMA’s global product portfolio and iconic ambassadors such as Dua Lipa, Neymar Jr and LaMelo Ball, with our exciting domestic partners such as Richmond Football Club, Carlton Football Club, GWS Giants Football Club and Melbourne City Football Club.
With a clear emphasis on heightening the retail experience, a dedicated ‘shopper engagement’ space will occupy a 16sqm area in the centre of the store. The focus of the space, currently showcasing the brand’s AFL club partnerships, will rotate on a regular occurrence to connect with Melbourne’s key seasonal sport and lifestyle events.
