December 22, 2021The Boys & Girls Clubs of America provide a safe place for the youth to learn and grow. This fall, PUMA hosted 15 total fitness sessions taught by 17 running & training partners in 4 clubs to keep hundreds of kids moving. Besides free ice cream and sneakers, PUMA also committed to a $1 million investment over 3 years.
The founders of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America believed that kids who roam the streets should have a positive alternative. For over 160 Years now, the BGC supports young people, especially those from a disadvantaged background to build a great future. Through art, music, education and sports, the clubs all over America focus on meeting the needs of the youth. At PUMA, we know sport is one of the strongest links between people. To support the BGC of America, PUMA hosted free fitness sessions for the boys and girls of the clubs in New York Ciriy, Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston. PUMA aimed to instill a love of movement and its power to help the kids feel strong, grow confidence in oneself, establish a positive attitude towards fitness, and the importance of healthy habits to be their best – now & in the future. With boxing courses, yoga sessions, nutrition workshops and dance classes, virtual and in real life, PUMA empowers the next generation to be stronger, faster, healthier – together.
