For a Cause

Our PUMAs helped harvest organic farmlands in Hualien for three days by partnering with the Hualien County Fuli Farmer’s Association. More than 70 PUMA employees, including PUMA Taiwan’s general manager Paul Yu, came together to rejuvenate local agriculture and donate to charity. 

Hualien is home to one of Taiwan’s most stunning and naturally scenic landscapes, spanning across 170km of the east coast of the island. The project came as a way to help rejuvenate the agriculture destroyed by the strong earthquake on September 18th. At the rice paddies, which PUMA Taiwan have adopted, the team partnered with the local government to revive the land. Our PUMA team helped harvest and donate rice to charities concerned with low-income families who were impacted by the earthquake, as well as the Anders Disability Center. 

The PUMA team proudly carved a leaping puma cat into the sea of rice, bringing smiles to the faces of all those involved! The team was really proud to help the cause. Check out the video below to see how everyone came together for the project! Awesome job team. 💛
