February 2, 2024PUMA and Perks and Mini (otherwise known as P.A.M.) return with the fourth installment of their flourishing PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE project. In this latest launch, central themes of the continuous collaboration converge including biodiversity, the fusion of technology and nature, the intersection of innovation and tradition, and the exploration of sport. Inspired by this down-to-earth and thoughtful series, we styled two unisex looks that revolve around items from the line.
The Shoes
The footwear lineup in this collection introduces exclusive versions of the PUMA Suede and Velophasis. The Suede undergoes a full transformation featuring a safeguarding mudguard on the toe, a suede upper, rope laces, and a collaborative PUMA x P.A.M. emblem on the tongue. Meanwhile, the Velophasis is revamped using mushroom leather, showcasing earthy sand and nut-brown hues, lively orange accents, and a co-branded panel embellishing the heel.

The Outfit(s)
In their collaborative quest for a harmonious fusion, PUMA and P.A.M. have curated a fresh collection of versatile unisex designs. These creations showcase mysterious graphics and subtle branding over a lush selection of outdoor-ready attire. Some items undergo solitary snow-wash treatment which creates a distinct and unique aesthetic. The latest collection also incorporates sustainable materials such as mushroom leather and recycled cotton, polyester, and nylon.
The first look leans to the lighter side ─ at the base are the ripstop wide-leg pants with zip-off panels and contrasting shades taken from the collection. Details like billowing cargo pockets give an air of ‘ready for anything’ that sets the tone for the whole look. An essential and easy-to-wear graphic tee in white pops up next, with gorgeous flora features strewn across the back panel. A luxurious creamy wool sweater with a high asymmetrical split turtleneck is a comfy addition. At the same time, a practical rugby tee from the collection gives an element of warmth and allure with faded graphics and ribbed neck opening plus a semi-structured collar that plays with the high neck of the sweater.
Australian streetwear label, P.A.M. infuses a playfully organic feel into familiar PUMA silhouettes, and the second outfit hops on this wave. On the bottom half comes a pair of high-rise black denim with a fade that looks lived-in and cargo pockets that echo the utilitarian aspects of the previous outfit. A plum blouse with tie-neck details and an all-over abstract print suggests a form of elegance, while the waterproof, reversible vest with degraded PAM Gesture patterning pivots the outfit back to its trail-inspired origins. The finishing outer layer is the iconic T7 track jacket with contrasting and contoured colour-blocked panels and wavy white piping that really pops.

The Accessories
The accompanying accessories continue to be rugged and real ─ the first outfit simply adopts and adapts pieces from the collection: the convex ripstop backpack is water-resistant and padded, with plentiful pockets and adjustable straps making it perfect for your next adventure outdoors. Naturally, you’ll need to stay hydrated along the way, so the matching water bottle carry-pouch with an included metal bottle is the perfect companion. With a final fashionable zest, a persimmon-print silk scarf matches aspects of the graphic tee and the little bit of luxe established by the sweater.
The second look is equally fashionable as it is functional, with a tortoise-shell effect pair of tinted shades and matching Legionnaires Cap from the collab featuring a detachable neck shade and front/back tonal logo embroideries.
