April 19, 2023For our Muslim colleagues at PUMA, the month of Ramadan is coming to an end. During this time of year, practicing Muslims are fasting from dawn until sunset, after which the fast is broken with Iftar – the fast-breaking evening meal at the time of adhan (the call to prayer) of the Maghrib prayer. Our PUMAs based in Dubai used that special time of the year to do good and give back to society.
On Tuesday, 11 April and Wednesday, 12 April 2023 our PUMAS of GCC, Muslim as well as non-Muslim employees, participated in an Iftar meal distribution activity for two Dubai labor worker accommodations.

As a fantastic way to do good and give back to society during the holy month of Ramadan – our PUMAs were working together to give out essential items to the hard-working labor workers who keep their city running.

600 meals distributed.
The purpose of the activity was to give back to society and support the community and local culture during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The blue collar workforce in Dubai works extremely hard to provide a better life for themselves and their families back home. By providing Food for 600 meals along with other articles, our PUMAs showed their appreciation and commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
